My mum used to say to me: "Don't draw too much. You won't earn money with art." Never listened to my mum, so I got an art graduation in high school anyway. After that, I finished my digital media designer apprenticeship. Got the job as a frontend webdeveloper.
Still want to bother my mum. I started to study advertising and branding design. But surprisingly, she was proud and I am actually happy about my decision.
I learn to focus on web developing / webdesign, as it's still my job. But I also focus on social media marketing and campaigns (advertising) and focus on layout, graphics and corporate design (branding).
